Graduate of Glasgow School of Art (BA Printed Textiles) and of the University of Manchester (Master of Landscape Design).Teacher in secondary schools, and tutor at the University of York Centre for Continuing Education where I devised and taught a course called 'Draw ing for Non Artists'.

My work as a garden designer led to a return to painting, when I created a wildflower meadow for a client, then felt compelled to paint it!

Over the past ten years I have exhibited in Glasgow, Edinburgh, York and in Argyll, as well as with Cowal Open Studios once a year in late September.
